On October 14, 2018, GZTech (Hong Kong) Group was invited by Sichuan Disabled Persons’ Federation, Sichuan Association of the Blind and Mr. Wu Jun, the Chairman of Sichuan Association of the Blind to participate a series of activities themed as “You Are My Eyes in the Same World” in Sichuan Province sponsored by the said federation and association to celebrate the 35th White Cane Safety Day. On that morning, Huang Weide, the vice chairman of Sichuan Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Wu Jun, the chairman of Sichuan Association of the Blind jointly initiated the celebration ceremony at Wanda Plaza in Mianyang. 

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Gong Bigang, the deputy manager of GZTech (Hong Kong) Group was invited to deliver a keynote speech “On the road of our mission!”, in which way, he expressed that the group is committed and capable of making different improvement for the health and rehabilitation industry by virtue of their rich experience and strong technologies. At the same time, he also donated “electronic guide dog” devices valuing RMB 24,500 Yuan on behalf of the group to Sichuan Association for the Blind. Besides, he also wished all blind persons to have a happy holiday and harmonious family on behalf of all colleagues.

Hello everyone!

I am very glad to attend the activities related to White Cane Safety Day and sincerely grateful to Disabled Persons’ Federation, Sichuan Association of the Blind and Mr. Wu Jun, the Chairman of Sichuan Association of the Blind for inviting me. Here, I want to say, “Happy Holiday!” to all blind friends.

In the past three decades, the rapid advancement of science and technology has triggered earth-shaking changes in the human society, and the Information technology has greatly changed the way of production in the society and improved people’s quality of life.

However, various innovative technologies have not benefited the disabled and different disadvantaged groups in the society. What we want to emphasize is: “Technology can change and improve the life of “everyone”, and we want to make a change on this because “everyone” should also include the disabled and the disadvantaged.” With over 30-years of research and development experience, GZTech (Hong Kong) Group has developed and manufactured a wide range of high-tech and cutting-edge technology products for top-tier customers around the world, especially in such fields as mobile payment, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence etc.. As a responsible company, we know how to make use of technology to make up the gap in the field of services for the disabled and to transform and upgrade the traditional industries with technology. Good technology and product don't have to be expensive, we know how to produce products at a reasonable price by virtue of our rich technical experience. That is “improvement” and also should be our “mission”. We believe that we’re able to change that.

Today, the “Electronic Guide Dog” smart device we’ve brought here is one of the technology products that can “improve” our life; the release of "Electronic Guide Dog" is expected to not only change the quality of life of people with visual impairment but also serve as a bridge for the blind to communicate with the society, which will awaken the confidence of the blind to integrate into the society. Later, we will design more innovative technology products to improve the quality of life of the disabled based on different groups and different life experiences.

On this occasion, I hope that I am not merely speaking on behalf of a caring company to express our thanks but declaring our position on behalf of GZTech (Hong Kong) Group and GZTech (Shenzhen) Electronics to all leaders present and friends caring about the disadvantaged groups that we are already “On the Road of our Mission”. For this purpose, we have prepared a number of different scenarios that can show use various changes caused by the technology, including daily object tag identification, traffic lights interaction, daily consultation and interaction, one-click SOS help and other scenarios, and you can get promotional materials from our colleagues. By scanning the QR code, you can watch videos demonstrating these scenarios. In addition, our colleagues have also prepared several “electronic guide dog” devices on site, and they’re happy and willing to explain how technology can bring “improvement” to everyone.

In conclusion, the above-mentioned situation could not be changed merely by one single person or enterprise. Therefore, we hereby call on behalf of all the disadvantaged groups, and we hope to cooperate with the government, different social organizations and different enterprises. We believe that, with the joint effort made by all of us, we could definitely make “Improvement”. Let us work together and be “On the Road of our Mission”.
